Following a competitive design pitch we were appointed by The Vineyard Group to develop the brand and launch marketing for a new hotel in Cirencester. Named as one of the Hot New Hotels for 2014 by The Times, The Kings Head, a Grade II listed building, underwent an extensive refurbishment programme and opened late in 2014 having been closed since 2007.
The King’s Head re-opened as a modern, elegant boutique hotel offering 45 stylish bedrooms, an exceptional wine list and an all day dining option offering the very best of modern British food, meetings facilities and a subterranean spa.
The brand identity reflects the stone carvings we found on site of past residents of the building and the brand concept of “Head Space” neatly positions the hotel as a place to escape to, clear the mind or replenish body and soul.
